Opal Fantastic Sky is a resilient 6-ply yarn composed of 75% superwash virgin wool and 25% polyamide. It's an ideal choice for crafting socks adorned with distinctive color patterns, as well as being excellent for making sweaters, hats, gloves, or scarves. A single ball of this yarn is sufficient for knitting one pair of socks, even up to size 44.

The inspiration for the Fantastic Sky collection stems from the myriad colors observed in the sky above the Opal factory in Hechingen. These hues span from the soft pink of fluffy clouds and the golden glow of sun rays to the dark blues of night meteor showers and misty horizons. These unique sky scenes and details are artfully captured in the striking color combinations offered in this collection.

Each ball of Opal Fantastic Sky 6-ply yarn weighs 150 grams and contains 420 meters of yarn. It can be easily washed at temperatures of up to 40°C and is suitable for knitting with needle sizes ranging from 3.00 to 4.00mm.
