ECO Highland Wool – 100% Natural Wool from the Andes

These high-quality 100% wool yarns come from sheep that graze freely in the Andes Mountains at altitudes of up to 3000 meters! The wool stands out for its softness, loft, and warmth – a result of the unique climate and a special sheep breed, a cross between Merino and Spanish sheep.

The wool has a fiber diameter of approximately 26 microns – very close to Merino wool. This makes the yarn exceptionally soft, elastic, and warm, suitable even for sensitive skin.

Eco Highland is perfect for a wide range of projects – for women’s, men’s, and children’s knits: sweaters, classic Norwegian-style garments, hats, scarves, mittens, or shawls. It knits up with beautiful stitch definition, resulting in structured and neat-looking pieces.
